The Fimaks Double Chop 1500 forage harvester is used to harvest any type of green forage and grass for silage production.The material is chopped by a shaft fitted with knives, then further transported by auger to the flywheel. The flywheel cuts the grass a second time, resulting in a much shorter chopping length considering standard choppers. The flywheel also transports the chopped material through a trough to load it into the trailer.
